COLOMBO (News 1st): All Technical Colleges, National Vocational Training Institutions, and Ceylon German Technical Training Institute will be re-opened on the 6th of July, according to the decision reached by the Ministry of Labour and Trade Union Relations.

“These institutions will re-open in adherence to the regulations issued by the Ministry of Health,” said Sarath Abayagunawardana – the Secretary Ministry of Skill Development Employment & Labour Relation on Wednesday (June 17).

Currently, there are 39 Technical Colleges in the country.

According to the Secretary over 10,000 students are enrolled at these institutions.
