SSP and Former DIG of Kegalle summoned before 4/21 commission

Colombo (News 1st) - 2 Police officers are due to appear before the Presidential Commission to investigate the April 21st terror attack today (Feb 7). The police officers that have been summoned are the SSP of Kegalle Vickrama Chamika and the former DIG in charge of the area Palitha Siriwardene. The Presidential commission is due to record evidence from them regarding the actions taken against the acts of vandalism on Buddha statues in Mawanella as well as the terror attack. 24 suspects are currently in remand custody in connection to the 4/21 terror attack.
