Water supply cut off to several areas in Colombo

Colombo (News 1st): Water supply has been cut-off to certain areas in Colombo due to a damage in the supply line carrying water from the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant. The affected areas are Maligawatte, Maligakanda, Maradana, Fort, Pettah, Chittampalam, A Gardiner Mawatha and D.R Wijewardena Mawatha. Areas that will receive low-pressure water supply during this period are Colombo 3, 7, 8, 12, and 13. The NWSDB stated its officers are attending to the leak in the supply line and that the defect is expected to be repaired soon.
