3214 election related complaints filed at NEC

Colombo (News 1st): The National Elections Commission (NEC) states that it has received 3214 complaints with regard to the Presidential Election since the 8th of October. The NEC said these relate to 25 incidents of violence, 3087 incidents of violation of election laws and 102 other related incidents. During the 24 hour window which ended at 04 last evening, 131 complaints were received by the National Elections Commission.
