Propaganda for Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha elections ends at midnight

COLOMBO (News 1st) - All propaganda for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election will conclude at midnight today (October 08). The voting will take place on the 11th of this month. It was reported that 47 election centres have been set up across the Elpitiya and Pitigala Police jurisdiction areas and 53,384 voters will be casting their votes on Friday. The election will be held to elect 28 members to the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha. According to the electoral system, 11 members will be elected to the Pradeshiya Sabha while 17 will be elected based on the proportional voting system.
