64 senior police officers transferred

COLOMBO (News 1st):- 64 Senior Police Officers were given transfers with approval from the National Police Commission. Sri Lanka Police said, 02 DIGs, 01 SSP, and 02 SPs were among those transferred. Accordingly, DIG K.P.M. Gunaratne was transferred from the Kegalle Division to the Special Protection Range. DIG P.Munasinghe was transferred from the Sabaragamuwa Division to the Kegalle Division. SSP KKC Athukorala was transferred from the Trincomalee Division to the Police Welfare Division. Director of the Colombo Crimes Division KDU Hemantha was transferred to the Kegalle Division as its Chief. SP PJ Nandana was transferred from the Ratnapura Division to the post of Director of the Colombo Crimes Division. Sri Lanka Police said in addition, an ASP, Chief Police Inspectors, and Police Inspectors were given transfers.
