Palitha Thewarapperuma and 5 accomplices remanded

Colombo (News 1st) - UNP MP, Deputy Minister Palitha Thewarapperuma and 5 others have been ordered to be remanded until September 16th. The accused were charged for proceeding with a burial against a court order at Troit Estate of the Thebuwana Police Division. Following the surrender of the defendants including Palitha Thewarapperuma to the court today (September 10), the Matugama Magistrate N.H.H Halpadeniya gave orders to remand the suspects.
