COPE proceedings open to media from today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The proceedings of the Committee of Public Enterprises (COPE) is due to be opened for the media from today (August 9). The COPE committee office states that the committee is due to convene at 2.30 pm today (August 9). When News 1st inquired from the Chairman of the COPE, MP Sunil Handunetti, he said that the officials of the State Printing Corporation and the Industrial Development Board have been summoned for investigations regarding several issues at these institutions.
