Colombo (News 1st): The Accountant of the Castle Street Hospital for Women yesterday (August 6) revealed to the Presidential Commission, 39 nurses from the Neville Fernando Hospital continue to serve there while being attached to the Castle Street Hospital for Women.

He informed the commission that the salaries for the 39 nurses are paid by the Castle Street Hospital for Women.

He further added the salaries were paid on the directive issued by the former Secretary of the Ministry of Health.
