Two lives claimed in an accident at Mellankulam

Colombo (News 1st): Two lives were claimed in an accident that took place in Mellankulam area along the Puttalam - Kurunegala road. Police noted that the accident occurred when a motorbike en route to  Kurunegala collided onto a parked tipper truck on the road. The rider of the motorbike and the passenger who were severely injured succumbed to their injuries upon admission to the hospital. The victims are 25-year-old residents of Kottukachchiya. The driver of the tipper truck has been arrested in this regard.
