OIC of Panadura North interdicted over missing rifles

Colombo (News 1st): The Officer In Charge of the Panadura North Police Station was interdicted today (July 15) after two T56 assault rifles were reported missing.
Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera said the decision was approved by the National Police Commission.
An inspection of the police station on the 4th of July revealed that two assault rifles were missing from the armoury of the police station.
