NTJ Colombo District Leader released on bail by Colombo Chief Magistrate

Colombo (News 1st): Mohamed Farouk Mohamed Fawaz suspected of being the Colombo District Leader of the banned National Thawheed Jamaath Organization was released on two sureties of Rs. 500,000 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today (July 15). The Magistrate issued the order taking into consideration a  letter sent by the Attorney General noting he had no objection in granting bail to the suspect as per the investigation report produced thus far. The suspect was barred from traveling overseas and the case will be taken up again on the 27th of September.
