Water supply in Colombo and suburbs to be restored by noon

COLOMBO (News 1st) -  The National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that water cut in several areas in Colombo will continue due to a development project by the Sri Lanka Land Reclamation and Development Corporation. Issuing a notice, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that from 9 am yesterday to 9 am today, for a period of 24-hours, water supply to several areas in Colombo would have low pressure. The notice adds that water supply under low pressure will affect Colombo, Dehiwela, Mount Lavinia, J' Pura Kotte, areas under the Kaduwela Municipal Council, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Ratmalana, and Soysapura Housing Complex. The Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water supply is expected to be fully restored by 12 noon today(July 11).
