Former Rakna Lanka Chairman arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Former Chairman of the Rakna Lanka, Victor Samaraweera has been arrested by the CID. He was arrested in relation to the Avant Garde incident. Police media spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that he was arrested following his appearance at the CID today(July 08). He is the 8th suspect in the Attorney General's suspect list regarding the Avant Garde incident.
