Navy nabs ‍four persons for using illegal fishing nets

Colombo (News 1st): Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command nabbed four people for engaging in fishing using illegal fishing nets in the seas off the Rocky Point, Trincomalee. A dinghy, an outboard motor and unauthorized fishing nets were taken into naval custody and were handed over to the Assistant Directorate of Fisheries in Trincomalee for onward action.
