Colombo (News 1st): 5 supporters of Mohomed Zahran have been arrested from the Horowpathana, Kiwulekada and Ellawewa areas this morning (May 24). Police noted the suspects were supporting Zahran’s sermons and other activities.

Police added that the suspects were arrested based on information revealed through the interrogation of 2 Thawheed Jamaath members who were arrested in Kabithigollawa.

Among the suspects are a Principal, two teachers and a Development Officer.
