"Gramashakthi" foundation stone laid for 1789th village at Hambantota

COLOMBO (News 1st) -  The event to lay the foundation stone to construct 1789^th model village under the Semata Sevana Program was held yesterday(February 21). The deputy leader of the UNP, Minister of Housing, Construction and Cultural Affairs Sajith Premadasa laid the foundation stone for the village at Siribopura, Hambantota. The "Gramashakthi" village consists of thirty-one houses. The ownership deeds were distributed at the event. Minister Sajith Premadasa addressed the addressing the crowd said that it was necessary for the attendees to move into their own homes. It is important for them to improve their quality of living and help others in need.
