Animals and Equipment flooded in Yan-oya.

COLOMBO (News1st) - The Centre for Environmental Justice charges that the Yan Oya development project was carried out without proper planning. This has now resulted in massive environmental and economic consequences. Executive Director of the Centre, Hemantha Vithanage claims that a large number of animals and mechanical equipment were flooded due to the improper way the reservoir was filled.
