COLOMBO (News 1st) - 1. The appropriation bill for the year 2019 was presented in parliament yesterday (February 05) by Minister Lakshman Kiriella. The bill estimates Rs. 4.55 trillion as the government expenditure for the year. 2. The Customs Trade Unions stated that over 6000 containers that were stalled as a result of their trade union action will be cleared within the next three days. The trade union action concluded yesterday (February 05) following the government's decision to reinstate the former Director General. 3.
