Custom workers return to work

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Customs trade unions state that container clearance activities which were stalled due to the Custom trade union action will be restored within three days. Secretary of the Customs Officers Association Vipula Miniuwanpitiya noted that over 6000 containers had been stalled at the port due to the trade union action. He further said that the trade union action ended last night (February 05) following the solution given by the government.
