Four arrested in narcotic raids across the island

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four suspects were arrested in narcotic raids conducted in several parts of the island Jaffna  Two suspects were arrested with 77kg of Kerala Ganja from Thenmaraj, Jaffna. The suspects were arrested based on a tip-off received last night (February 04). Further investigations into the incident are being conducted by the Chavakachcheri police. Hambegamuwa  The Hambegamuwa police raided a two-acre Ganja farm in the area. Two suspects were arrested following the raid. One suspect was remanded till the 21st of February while the second suspect was released on a surety of Rs. 100,000.
