34 year old arrested with firearm in Kotuwila

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 34-year-old suspect has been arrested in Borolla, Kotuwila for the possession of a foreign manufactured firearm. The Police said that the suspect was arrested in a raid conducted based on a tip-off to the Police Special Investigation Unit of the Southern province. The suspect has been identified as a resident of Kumburupitiya. He is due to be presented before the Matara Magistrate Court today (February 05).
