Police bust yeilds 5 Kg of Heroin

Colombo (News1st): A suspect was arrested in Kotalawala, Kaduwela for the possession of over 5 kilograms of Heroin. He was arrested following a raid carried out by the Police Narcotics Bureau last night (January 16).
The heroin was worth over Rs. 60.2 million. The 53-year old suspect was arrested while transporting the heroin in a three-wheeler.
He is due to be presented before court today (January 17).
