New Ministers sworn in

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A number of Ministers were sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisena this morning (January 11). V. Radhakrishnan was sworn in as the Minister of Special Area Development (Non-cabinet). Ravindra Samaraweera was sworn in as the Minister of Labour and Trade Union relations (Non-Cabinet). Abdullah Maharoof was sworn in as the Deputy Minister of Ports and Shipping. There has also been an amendment to the Ministerial portfolio of Daya Gamage. His portfolio has now been limited to Social Empowerment.
