Constitutional Assembly to convene today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The constitutional Assembly appointed to draft the new constitution is to convene from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm today (January 11). The decision was made at the party leaders meeting held yesterday (January 10). Meanwhile, several expert reports of the panel appointed to advise the steering committee drafting the constitution will be presented to parliament today (January 11). The report will be handed over by the Chairman of the steering committee, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
