COLOMBO (News 1st) - UPFA MP's have decided to boycott today's Parliamentary session. The decision was made during a meeting held at the Presidential Secretariat last evening (December 11). The meeting was chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena. Speaking to the media, SB Dissanayake said that they had decided to boycott the party leader's meeting as well. Namal Rajapaksa confirmed that the SLFP and the SLPP had already forged a strong alliance and that they will contest for the upcoming elections together. General Secretary of the SLFP Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa said that the alliance will be launched under a new symbol.
