SLPP and SLFP to meet President today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Representatives of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will meet at 7.00 p.m. today (December 11) at the Presidential Secretariat. Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is also due to participate at this meeting which will be chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena. UPFA MP Keheliya Rambukwella confirmed to News 1st that the focal point of the discussion will be the present political situation that has led to a sense of uncertainty in the country.
