Parliament to convene at 1.00 pm tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Parliament chaired by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya is due to convene at 1.00 p.m. tomorrow (December 12). Sergeant-at-arms Narendra Fernando confirmed that the public gallery and the special invitee's gallery will be closed during tomorrow's parliamentary session. He continued to say that security will be beefed up around the parliamentary premises tomorrow (December 12). Further, he said that as per the agenda a motion to express confidence in Ranil Wickremesinghe is due to be submitted by the UNP.
