DIG Nalaka De Silva remanded

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Former head of the Terrorism Investigation Division DIG Nalaka de Silva, has been remanded unill the 7th of November after he was arrested earlier on Thursday (Oct 25). He arrived at the CID at 9.30 am this morning (October 25) for the 5th consecutive day to record a statement. Statements made by the former head of the Terrorism Investigations Division, DIG Nalaka De Silva, were recorded by the CID during the past several days. The interrogation was in line with investigations currently conducted by the CID, regarding an alleged plot to murder the President and the former Defence Secretary.
