SriLanka to host Asian Volleyball Men’s Challenge Cup

Colombo (News 1st ) – Sri Lanka will host its first ever Asian Volleyball Conferdation Men’s Challenge Cup at the Sugathadasa Stadium in September.

Teams from eight countries including Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bangladesh, Mongolia, and Iraq will participate in this year’s tournament.

The Sri Lankan Volleyball team is currently ranked 14th in Asian Rating system. If Sri Lanka wins this tournament, we will be able to rise to either the 7th or 8th position.
