National Sustainability Dialogue to be launched

COLOMBO (News 1st) – The President is set to launch the National Sustainability Dialogue under the National Sustainability Development programme, on Monday (August 06).

The programme is being implemented under the United Nations Sustainability Development programme. The Dialogue is drafted in order to list out the sustainable development targets to be achieved by Sri Lanka by the year 2030.

The 2030 Vision of Sri Lanka covers the targets to be achieved in the areas of agriculture, transport, energy, health, education, water, oceans, fisheries, urban planning and development under the three divisions of economic, social, and environment.
