Agarwood smuggler arrested in Kadawatha

COLOMBO (News 1st): A suspect who was in possession of Agarwood (wallapatta) which is a protected flora in Sri Lanka, was arrested in the 9th mile post area in Kadawatha today (July 26th). 10.884kg of Agarwood which was in the possession of the suspect has been taken into Police custody. The 37 year old suspect who is a resident of Ragama was placed in remand custody till the 26th of next month after being produced before the Mahara magistrate.
