Colombo (News1st) – The Adivel Procession is on its second day today (July 20). The processions is organized by The Capital Maharaja Organization Limited with the aim of building national harmony. The procession commenced from Vavuniya, carrying the Wela-Yudaya, symbolizing the Wela-Yudaya that was held by the Kataragama God. The Procession commenced its journey following special observances performed at the Kandasami Kovil premises.

The procession passed Anuradhapura, Dambulla and Matale and reached its destination Kotagala Vinayagar Kovil to end its journey for the day. The procession will reach Sri Murugan Kovil in Jinthupitiya, Colombo tomorrow (July 21). It will then move towards the premises of the Capital Maharaja Organization Limited, where devotees will be given the opportunity to obtain blessings.
