COLOMBO (News 1st) -The Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith speaking to reporters this evening commented on the capital punishment.

“Human life is valuable. We never agree to take away the life of any human. However, when people who have been convicted and sentenced to death and continue to hurt others in an organized manner, it would only be fair to impose punishments on them” stated the Cardinal.
