COLOMBO (News 1st) – Strong winds swept across the western parts of the island this morning (July 11), damaging several houses in Colombo and Dehiwala.

The Maharagama area experienced the same windy conditions, which damaged several houses, some of which caused by uprooted trees. The situation was the same in Padukka, Meegoda.

According to the News 1st correspondent, around 75 houses have been damaged during the windy condition.
