COLOMBO (News 1st) – A group of MPs representing the joint opposition met with the former president Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday. (July 3)
Following the meeting, UPFA MP Dinesh Gunawardena took to address the media stating that discussions were held in order to hold a series of protests against this government that brought the country to this state and send them packing.
The MP also continued to say that they would not allow the government to deprive the general public of their rights and that the people must be given their democratic right to vote.
