Hand Grenade hurled at house in Boyingamuwa injures three

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A hand grenade was hurled at a house in Boyingamuwa in the Kuliyapitiya area last evening. (July 01) Police Media Division said that three individuals including a woman who had sustained minor injuries were admitted to the Kuliyapitiya Hospital. Police reports stated that an unidentified individual had hurled the hand grenade at the house and fled the scene. Investigations to take the suspect into custody are currently underway. Further, the Police also added that the investigations carried out so far had revealed that the attack was a result of a personal dispute between the individuals.
