Yashodha Range Bandara further remanded

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - State Minister Palitha Range Bandara's son, Yashoda Range Bandara, who was arrested over a motor accident, was further remanded till the 14^th of June after being produced before the Chilaw Magistrate's Court. Yashodha Range Bandara was taken into custody over a motor accident on the 8^th of June while receiving treatment at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital. According to the Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera, he was arrested under charges of misuse of state property and causing a motor accident. Four people suffered injuries when the vehicle driven by Yashodha Range Bandara met with an accident in the Kottapitiya Junction in Arachchikattuwa. Furthermore, a sword was also found in the vehicle driven by the State Minister's son.
