Sri Lanka Army standby to face weather incidents

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - The Sri Lanka Army says, they are standby to face any incidents that could arise due to adverse weather. Army Media Spokesperson, Brigadier Sumith Atapattu said the 58 Division of the Sri Lanka Army has been deployed, on alert to face any disaster situations that could arise in the districts of Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Kegalle and Ratnapura. However, Brigadier Sumith Atapattu further noted that there aren't any, emergency situations reported as of yet.
