COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Central Committee meeting which was to be held today (April 11) has been postponed.
SLFP General Secretary, Minister Duminda Dissanayake, said a definite date for the Central Committee meeting is yet to be finalised.
The Central Committee convened on Monday (April 9) under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena - this was its first meeting since the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Sixteen SLFP members who voted in favour of the no-confidence motion had once again made a
request to leave the government
