COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Joint Opposition says the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, with all signatories, will be tabled in parliament within this week. UPFA Parliamentarian, Ranjith Zoysa, said around 40 ministers have signed it so far. He added that ministers who are currently overseas are also scheduled to sign the no-confidence motion as soon as they return to the country. Parliament is set to convene at 1 p.m. today (March 20). News 1st correspondent, Sripal Wanniarachchi said according to the General Secretary of Parliament, party leaders have been informed that the translations of the bond report and the PRECIFAC report are yet to be prepared. He added that the debate on the two reports is scheduled to take place on March 23.
