Two unlicensed firearms found in Kalutara during Police raid

COLOMBO (News 1st) -Police officers attached to the Kalutara Special Crimes Prevention Unit has taken two unlicensed firearms into custody. The raid was carried out based on a tip-off. The weapons were found hidden inside a house in Baduraliya, Kalutara. A suspect has been arrested by police. According to Police, the arrested suspect is an army deserter. He is due to be produced before Kalutara Magistrate today (March 19).
