RuPaul makes this statement as she becomes the first drag queen to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 57-year-old host of RuPaul's Drag Race stated that he was "overcome with so much emotion" to get the honour he'd dreamed of since he was a child. He said that this has been absolutely the most important moment in his professional career. Fans lined the Hollywood Boulevard to cheer RuPaul on and thank him for all he's done for the LGBTQ community.
