Asela Gunaratne sidelined from T20s against Bangladesh

COLOMBO (News1st) - Sri Lankan All-rounder, Asela Gunaratne, has been sidelined from the T20 International Series against Bangladesh due to an injury. Sri Lanka Cricket in a statement said Gunaratne will be scanned for an injury in his right arm. The statement however, said no replacement will be sent for Gunaratne.

He has sustained an injury in his right arm, while diving during one of the fielding drills and getting his arm caught in an awkward position. - SLC

The first T20 International between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be played today (15) at Dhaka from 4.30 p.m. local time.
