A meeting is due to be held today to end the ongoing strike action at the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital.
Chairman of the Public Services United Nurses Association Venerable Muruththettuwe Ananda Thero said, the discussion will be held with the Chairman of the hospital and the management.
The nurses at the hospital are on strike for a ninth consecutive day in opposition of the introduction of a Fingerprint Scanning Attendance System.
Meanwhile, the strike launched by the National Hospital and Eye Hospital nursing staff in support of the strike was expected to end at 7.00 this morning.
