A person who impersonated a student and sat for the second paper of Accounts at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in an examination centre in Uhana, Ampara has been taken into custody.

Accordingly, a 32-year-old resident of Thekkawatte in Maha Oya has been arrested, following a complaint lodged by the Examination Officer-in-charge.

The suspect has been placed in remand custody after being produced before the Ampara Magistrate’s Court.
