Amidst turbulence times in the political sphere, another project which was initiated under the Gammadda 100 Day Initiative was declared open on Monday October 24, a mere 18 days after the project was launched.
The fishermen of the Thota area in Talaimannar who lived their lives without proper sanitary facilities for nearly 40 years, were given this basic necessity under the Gammadda 100 Day Initiative on Monday, October 24.
Malani Rathnayake provided financial assistance for the project.
Children of the Nabadagaswewa Village in Rambewa are forced to showcase their abilities and skills on bare ground due to the shortcomings in the only community hall for the entire village.
Under the Gammadda 100 Day Initiative, this community hall was repaired and opened to the people on Monday, October 24.
The project is sponsored by ICL Marketing Pvt Ltd together with the Sri Lanka Army.
