Amidst turbulent times in the political sphere, several more projects under the Gammadda 100 Day Initiative were launched on Tuesday, bringing solutions to grave issues faced by the people.

A drinking water project was launched on Tuesday, October 25,  to ease the burden on the people of the Kappachchi Village in Vavuniya , who have been suffering for years without access to clean drinking water.

Upali Dharmadasa is financially supporting this initiative.

Meanwhile, a drinking water project for the village of Idiman in Kinniya was also declared open under the Gammadda 100-Days Initiative today.

These people have been deprived of access to clean drinking water for many years.

This project was financially supported by the National Lotteries Board.

The people of Degal-Ara who were not only deprived of the basic necessities for many years but had to constantly face the threat of wild elephants were gifted with a new community hall today.

The Gammadda 100-Days Initiative will continue to bring relief to the people
