The third day of Shape South Asia 2016, organised by the Global Shapers Colombo Hub was held in Colombo on Saturday.
The speakers today touched on an array of sub topics which fall under the theme “Citizens’ response to disaster – reflection and lessons”. The panels were moderated by the Global Shaper Colombo Hub resident disaster resilience expert.
The first panel consisted the representative of the Global Shapers from the South Asian Hubs who reflected on the recent, respective natural disasters faced by themselves including the Nepal Earthquake, Bangladesh flash floods and the Tsuamni in Sri Lanka.
