The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment said that they hope to bring back Sri Lankan employees in Saudi Arabia, at a time when working in economic crisis-hit Saudi has given rise to many issues.

Minister Thalatha Athukorala noted the Sri Lankan employees in Saudi Arabia have been given the freedom to decide whether or not they want to return home.

However,  the minister added that a final decision has not yet been reached on bringing back the Sri Lankan employees in Saudi Arabia.
